About

Philip has more than 30 years' experience of working in hospitals, social services, community and residential settings as well as in the voluntary sector and has held a number of senior management positions.

Philip trained at The Minster Centre and has an MA and an Advanced Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. He is a registered psychotherapist with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and is a senior accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). He is bound by the UKCP and BACP code of ethics.

Now concentrating his work on his private practice, Philip served as a Deputy Director at The Minster Centre from 2013 to 2022 and has been a tutor on a number of their training courses. Philip has also been a visiting lecturer at Birkbeck University and University Campus North Lincolnshire.
