Supervisor
Philip is UKCP recognised supervisor and is listed on the UKCP Directory of Supervisors. He offers clinical supervision to qualified therapists as well as counselling and psychotherapy trainees. Philip was one of the tutors on the Minster Centre Supervision in Psychotherapy & Counselling Diploma Course from 2013 to 2023. He has also been a clinical supervisor with a number of leading voluntary sector charities.
Experience
As Philip has more than 30 years' experience of working in hospitals, social services, community and residential settings as well as in the voluntary sector, he also offers supervision to those working in the caring professions. For those working helping professions effective support can often be given by supportive colleagues and managers. However, many professionals find it easier to explore their concerns and anxieties with an independent person who is experienced and specially trained to listen and support. This can leave them less vulnerable and better able to maintain their equilibrium and effectiveness.
